My custom carving process
Creating your one off custome art piece is a collaborative journey. From your initial idea to the final carving, I will ensure a seamless process focused on your satisfaction and the creation of an unparalleled work of art.

I like putting thru cuts (like my open mouth rattles) to put a twist on carving designs, rattles and totems. Similar to Steam Punk design, to show the inner workings of a piece.

Traditional artistry
I am a self-trained Coast Salish artist. My family is direct decents of Captain Charles Mason(Chief Taxola, the namesake of our village Taholah), the last Quinault Chief. Each one of my art piece show my lineal pride and are meticulously hand-carved and painted. I attempt to bring life out of the wood/art in every detail.
